The cookoff counts like a regional qualifier for the 2017-2018 chili year, with the top three winners qualified to compete in the Saturday Championship and 4th thru 10th winners receive 2 points. Those who ended the chili year with only 7 or 8 points (or 4 points if you live in a 6 point states) would qualify for the Saturday Championship. Prize money for People's Choice Brisket ($500) and Anything Goes Chili ($200). All cooks should be in place by 8AM the day of the cookoff.
